What To Do
Stir with cracked ice in a chilled stirring glass. Strain in a Nick and Nora glass or coupe glass. Garnish with some Luxardo cherries.
A Few Words
I like using the traditional rye whiskey for this drink, though a bourbon or other form of whiskey would work. The key is to make sure you stir it enough to chill the drink properly and to get the proper dilution. A great play on the Manhattan. Bitter. Strong. Not too sweet. But slightly herbal from the Maraschino. Cheers!
