Ingredients

2 oz Mezcal Reposado
¾ oz Cynar
½ oz Grapefruit Liqueur
½ oz of Sweet Vermouth

What To Do

Combine all ingredients. Stir. Strain. Serve with a grapefruit peel garnish. Release oils from the peel and rub around the rim.

A Few Words

Wanted to make Nergroni-esque type drink with mezcal and this is what I whipped up. Grapefruit and agave go great together and the aromatics in the Cynar really plays off the mezcal is a delicious way. I didn’t add as much vermouth as with a typical Negroni ratio because the grapefruit liqueur is a bit sweet as well and I wanted the citrus flavors to come through. Enjoyed this one quite a bit.
