A Few Words

The Last Word is a prohibition era cocktail originally developed at the Detroit Athletic Club and it’s making a huge comeback these days. Now there is no such thing as a ‘perfect cocktail’ per se, but if I had to chose one, it would be the Last Word. It has everything. Citrus. Bitterness. Bite. Floral notes. Anise notes. Not too sweet. You can taste every component. It is the true definition of a ‘balanced cocktail’. It’s always a crowd pleaser when you make one at a party, and the best part is, it’s incredibly easy to make! Cheers!
