The Drink Formally Known As…

2 oz Pisco
½ oz Creme de Cassis
¼ oz Creme de Cacoa
¾ oz Lemon Juice
1 Barspoon Amere Nouvelle
1 Egg White
6 Blackberries

What To Do

Muddle the blackberries with the Creme de Cassis. Add the rest of the ingredients into shaker WITHOUT ICE. Dry shake very well. Add ice then shake till the drink cools. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with some blackberries.

A Few Words

Yes yes… this drink is purple. In my opinion, a real man is comfortable enough with himself to drink any cocktail no matter the color! I guess this a take on a standard pisco sour. Fruity but not too sweet. The Amere Nouvelle lends some nice complexity and bitterness while still allowing the berry flavors to come through. Embrace the purple and enjoy! Cheers!

(Edit. Wow. I wrote up this last week to post and had it ready to go. Even had the Prince name and everything. I suppose today is the day to post it as a small remembrance to him. Crazy).
