A Few Words

The folks over at Caperitif are bringing back the infamous South African “ghost ingredient”. If you look through the old classic cocktail books, this appears in many recipes. It’s been gone for a while, but thankfully it’s coming back, and they were nice enough to hook me up with some! I was looking for inspiration and I saw a recipe called the “Cabaret Cocktail” which appeared in Craddock’s ‘Savory Cocktail Book’. This is a riff on that with the addition of a Grapefruit Liqueur and bitters to highlight the citrus notes in the Caperitif. Herbal. Floral. Bright. Can’t wait to play around with it more. Cheers!
